We will be looking at a different story book each week, as part of our maths learning.  Every Monday, you will find a video of the book we are looking at in class that week on the Year 1 Blog, together with a planning sheet with suggested activities you can do with your child at home.  This will be your child's weekly homework for maths.  Please encourage your child as much as possible with this. Research suggests that when parents and carers team up with teachers to consolidate learning at home, children make more progress.
